Thank you, bobby and seil! Would have replied earlier, but didn't see replies 'til last night. I can see an argument for both identities, but feel almost sure it it the Simplex-it has a pointy, elfin quality to the petals and in looking it up there was a mention of bright buds-mine has almost salmon colored ones. Thank you both for helping me, it is much appreciated---been geeking out this week on making a data base of our roses and now i can replace one more mystery with a name!

I grow Simplex and Grace Seward side by side. The center of Simplex is yellow ... Grace Seward's is peach.
