I think it is Hot Tamale. I would often get lighter blooms from time to time.

I received my Hot Tamale from Bridges a few weeks ago, the first few blooms were light in color, but now they are darker. It is a very pretty rose.

It looks like the right thing to me. I see some variation in color and that looks like the lighter end of the scale. Give it a chance. I'm sure you will find it spectacular. It is my wife's favorite rose.

It could be Hot Tamale, the blooms will look like that if they have not had some intense sun light. The sun is what gives it the great color. Howard

Good question. I have two Hot Tamales -- one from Nor'East and one from Michael's Minature Roses (just before it went out of business). They're two or three feet apart, but have very different coloration. The one from Nor'East is a strong blend of hot pink and yellow/orange. The one from Michael's is almost light pink and white (little or no yellow).

Both are pretty and healthy, but I prefer the one that's mui caliente.
