countertop question

Hello- I love this kitchen and you commented on how the carrera marble honed almost glows. It does! Can you tell me specifically the type of carrera used here? It is very white and heavenly, though you do see the gray. I am wanting that very soft glow without a lot of dark gray and lots of contrast. Please tell me if you know if it was just the particular slab you chose that looks like this or if it's a certain type of carrera I should look for to duplicate this look. Thank you!

Yes you are correct that it is the individual slab of carrara marble that has a soft white instead of heavy gray veining. Although in person, this marble has a little more gray than shows up in the photos and is quite beautiful.
In addition, the honing process softens the gray veins making them more pale in color.
    Happy marble hunting!
(I love viewing marble and granite slabs because it's a slice of the earth's history - so interesting!)

I agree! We are in Houston and yesterday I found carerra Slabs honed very close to this. Last questions- these home owners you said used Bullet-Proof sealer? Is this your firm's recommended protocol? Many coats? I know there's no stop to the etching, but wondering the sealer most of your clients use? Finally- is that a 3 cm slab or regular 2 cm? Thx for your help!
