I grow it (year 3 now). In the spring (i.e. cooler weather) it looks more pinkish to me, but normally it is lavender with a somewhat lighter reverse. The flowers are *very* fragrant. I keep one on my desk at work and passers-by always comment.

As with all lavenders, watch out for blackspot.

The rose smells very nice. The color is a very pale lavender, along the lines of Violet Mist and Sterling Silver etc...

The blooms blow quickly at first. I SPd it for violet mist. There are many who love it however...

Yup, Lavender with lighter/white reverse. It's probably been the best bloom machine for my miniature roses this summer and was mostly healthy (a little spider mite damage, but they're hitting all of the mini's a touch). The scent is quite good. My only complaint is that they last next-to-no time as cut flowers.

I have one in a 16" pot, the first year for me, and it's just in the middle of its first flush. Right now, I'd call the color mauve, though there's a lot of lavender there, too. The perfume is wonderful; that's why I bought it, as I'm not a fan of mauve roses. On the bush, I've been very impressed with how long the blooms last, and how long they have a nice form. I haven't tried picking any, so can't testify to vase life.
Our weather has been cool so far, never above low 70's, which may be a factor.

My scentsational was the first mini of mine to bloom and did wonderfully in the cool spring. It was large,had a great scent ( which most of my others don't) and was beautiful in coloring. I wish it would of lasted longer for the rose show. It lasted a good while in my vases. Right now in the heat it isn't doing much. I would purchase it again if I needed one.

I am between this rose and Overnight Scentsation. I would like a pink rose, so it sounds like Overnight Scentsation would be the way to go?
