The size of a mini rose really depends of the rose. Remember the word mini is describing the bloom size, Most of my minis will mature to about 2ft. Yet there are others that will mature to almost 4ft and I have heard of other that will get bigger. The best place to get an idea on how big a mini will get is by looking it up on HelpMeFind Roses.

What do you consider "full sized"? I have minis that are close to 5' tall.

I just always thought they would be small like when you buy them in the little 2x2 pots. I did not know they would grow to the size like the one I saw which was about 7 ft tall and about that big in diameter. I guess that is like they say, you learn something new every day. I did get some cuttings off the rose I saw and and rooting it. It is beautiful.

I've got a mini climber (Valentine's Day) that can do 10 feet when I let it. It competes favorably with Fourth of July and Sally Holmes in size and the three of them have grown together in my yard, so you never know if you will get red blooms, white blooms or the stripes of Fourth of July. Be forewarned though that when they say "mini" the only thing "they" are referring to is the size of the bloom. The plant can be anywhere in the spectrum from a foot tall to gigantic.
