Hi,

Whenever there is rain, there is usually some blackspot that follows. Get yourself some Bayer Disease Control, it's just fungicide, and follow the directions on the bottle (you'll need a sprayer if you dont have one.) It's expensive but worth it-NO blackpot and will last a long time. I had lots of BS on my mini, and a few others and one application of this cleared it right up. Good luck!

Thanks Jen. I just purchased 2 containers. A store by me had it on sale for 2.99 and only 2 left. Great deal which I knew I would use but wasn't familiar with the product. Is there a right time of day to spray and what about my puppies? Will they be okay?

Sure, they'll be fine as long as they dont drink lots of the product. That is a fantastic deal-score! I wouldnt be able to pass that up. I spray mine once a week, every 7 days. It's rainproof too. I spray in the early morning so it has plenty of time to dry before the full sun hits it.

Always read all the directions and cautions on the label to find out how to handle the pesticide and what effect it will have on you or your animals if you do not handle it properly.
I am glad to hear the good words about the Bayer product (and yes, that was a great buy!) I was a vendor for Bayer a few years ago, that is I helped people at Lowe's and steered them towards Bayer products! In fact they do have some GREAT products. I use the Bayer fungicide sometimes but I alternate it with other fungicides so it is hard to tell just what is working. If you are just getting started the best thing to do is keep it simple. tjsangel gave you some good advice.
