I am so happy to report that my mini yellow Ty rose bush new to me this spring has really started to finally grow, thrive, and bloom all of a sudden. Most folks have all agreed that Ty is a slow-growing stingy blooming little rose. I definitely included my Ty rose in that group as it was a sluggish grower and have very few blooms on it.

Since I started fertilizing with my "John's Juice" as my sister calls it, this Ty bush has really changed just overnight. It still has some crooked stems to battle with, but the stems have lengthened and are very strong for as small as it was. I counted 24 blooms on my bush tonight and am delighted at the clear butter yellow color and the longevity of the flowers on the bush or even when I snip a few for the vase in the house. It has no fragrance to my nose which is a bit of a letdown. But, all in all, this is turning into a very decent garden rose for my back deck garden bed. If you have an open garden spot, give this little yellow mini a shot. You might find you like it quite a little bit.
