I have no experience with forestfarm, but you are correct -- the "real" Banshee is not red. Rather, it is a light pink.

Hope you find out the identity of the forestfarm version.

'Banshee' is indeed a pale pink, not even close to a red. I hope you got your money back.

I found a photo of this rose in my pictures folder today so I am posting it. I like this rose so I have never asked for my money back. It seems to be doing well so maybe I'll find out what it really is.
