Can this be Auguste comte?

Found this rose abandoned. With due care, it has now bloomed. I checked pics on HMF and wondered if it could be auguste comte... Its leaves are perfectly similar.... Mod to strong fragrance, Red hooked thorns, deep green foliage, leaves look like curry leaves rather than typical rose leaves. Buds are pale greenish yellow at the onset.. Then their tips turn deep pink. Flower opens as deep pink. Inner petals are lighter pink, sometimes pale yellow...Each petal (including outer ones) have yellowish color at base. Around 30 petals.

And yes, as the flower ages, petals change color to a dusky mauve/ purple/ lavender shade. No longer pink afte 4-5 days of opening.

Older bloom, turning mauve. Next to it is a mature bud, ready to bloom. Far back is the fresh bloom shown in previous photo.

    Plz help identify this one...

It looks a little like my Archduke Charles but I'm just guessing.

Thanks Seil, it does look a lot like Archduke Charles on HMF, though mine is darker and the central petals have a pink stripe...
Can u please tell me whether I should prune this rose by 1/3 or a bit more? How does it behave?

Also, can you tell me how to differentiate between blushing iceberg and green ice, as both have light pink and white flowers of similar shape....

I wouldn't do any pruning. It's a new small plant and really doesn't need it. Just dead head the spent blooms and let it grow. I don't know much about the Archduke yet either because I just got mine last spring. We'll learn together!

I can't find any "Blushing" Iceberg. There is a floribunda called Blushing Pink Iceberg. That is a full size rose. The plant will get to be about 4 X 4 feet here with blooms about 2 to 3 inches in size. Green Ice is a miniature and the blooms will be much smaller, only 1 to 1 1/2 inches in size. The plant will probably be smaller as well, maybe 3 X 3 feet or less. Mine never got much bigger than about a foot tall and wide.
