HGTV Garden Shows?

Anyone remember when you could find gardening shows on HGTV? ME NEITHER!!! Here's a link you can use to send them an e-mail and let them know that either they should drop the "G" from the station name or get on the ball and give us gardening shows, even if they only show them at odd hours of the day, like the o'dark-thirty ones they used to have. Remember Gardeners Journal? Yeah-vaguely. Send them an e-mail here:

Landscaper's Challenge comes on Sunday morning at 7AM in my area. Gardening By The Yard comes on Sunday morning at 7:30AM. Now, I ask you, are you up that early on a Sunday morning????? And if so, are you ready to be watching TV at that hour? I'm not. Thanks for the link.

I`v watched gardening by the yard but it is gone now. what time zone are you in? I am in mountain time now. during the winter months. we were in pacific time and it came on at 8:30 AM. on weekends. now gone.

We're not only up that early, we're out of the house and on our way by 7am.

That kind of situation is what TIVO is all about. MIne goes and grabs Gardening by the Yard any time it comes on. Then I can watch it when I want like Saturday morning after breakfast with my coffee.

I agree it would be nice to see more gardening shows with the format of Rebecca's Garden, Square foot gardener or trips thru old established gardens of the south like you used to have on Saturday afternoons. Another idea is how to develop a patio area with progressive samples of plants and furniture that middle America could afford.
