Organic Rose Growing

A resistant SMALL climber

The resistant climbers suggested (New Dawn, Westerland, Seafoam) sound great, but I have a very small garden and need one that will stay trained compactly on a 7'pillar. Is it possible to find a rose that is disease resistant in the humid south but won't take over my space? Please help!

Have a look at Blush Noisette.

Sea Foam is fine for a pillar. The shoots are only about 6' long on average. Blush Noisette has great fragrance but very small flowers, fine for a pillar. Colette has no black spot for me (4-5 years).
