How tall & wide is the bush? Does it flower more than once per year, or only once in late spring/early summer? It's perhaps not quite purple enough, but it kind of looks like Salet (one of the rare reblooming mosses).

I agree that it would be worth your while to post a link to this on the Antique Rose Forum so some of the more experienced rosarians there know about your question.

Possible guesses: Dresden Doll, around since 1975; or Salet, since 1854.

Show me the front of the leaf. Are the leaf margins and even the mid-ribs mossed? I think so. I may have that moss and still want an ID. It's called "The Mayor's Super Moss."

The foliage and mossing are spot on to the moss called Zoe. The bloom form is different, however. Someone said Common moss is not one rose but rather a type, so this may be Common Moss.

The second pic is of the top of the leaves, but I can see what you mean by the pictures you posted.

Do you have any cuttings of that one rooted? I just stuck some from mine a few nights ago so I know they are just sitting there yet.
