I don't think so, Madame Butterfly looks much lighter/whiter than I've seen this one get. Thank you though!

It might help to know where the rose lives, how large the blooms are, and if they're fragrant, etc.

Are the blooms often a darker color than in the photos? If so, do they tend to be pinker, peachier, tanner, yellower, or...?

Do you have an idea about how old the plant might be? And did you ever know the name, and so might recognize it if you heard it again, or has it always been a mystery rose for you?

A few clues might help someone to provide a good ID of that very lovely rose.

- Located in Utah, zone 6B.

- I don't recall the fragrance being strong.

- Don't know exactly how big the blooms are, I would say average. Peace grows next to this one and its blooms are much larger.

- The photos capture their spring color pretty well. The blooms became a lot pinker in the summer.

- Don't know the plant's age. This is my late grandparents' rose garden, dating back to the 1960s. I think this rosebush is one of the younger ones, but as far as I know, they all date 1990s or older.
