Yay seeds sprouting :)

Although I made the mistake earlier this year of planting rose seeds which had only been in the refrigerator a month and not sprouted yet, apparently the temp in my basement was cold enough and varied enough that some came up after being down there in peat starters for a month. ^_^ If I take out the sprouted ones and put the rest of the tray somewhere a little colder for a week then bring it back where it's warm maybe I can get even more to sprout.

Yes, congratulation, it's really exciting isn't it. I had some sprout last month that had been in the fridge for their second year! Last year my fridge wasn't working right and I guess they never got cold enough the first time (?), so don't give up on your seeds too soon, apparently they remain viable for quite a while. I haven't checked this years batches of seeds in a couple weeks, will have to do that today. Good luck with them.
