I'm a fruit tree grafter and I'm going to attempt a stab at grafting roses. My neighbor has a beaut of a yellow, likely hybris Tea and I have several Teas in red and pink. I thought I would attempt a swap of branchs.

In fruit trees I graft just prior or during bud break but, all of the footage that I have seen about roses, show leafs in maturity.

So the question is... when can I do the branch swap?
