Yes, as long as they are still green and fresh. Any shrinkage means they have started to dry out.

Have you done cuttings before? I'm in a much colder zone so some of the things people do in your area won't work for me, but to hedge your bets a bit...you might try several different methods...

rooting hormone usually helps a lot...

some people in southern areas have good luck with glass jars over their cuttings w/ a rock or something to prop up one edge...some have good luck w/ moist sand...

because I'm so much colder the only thing I've had any luck with has been a mister above them and sticking them in straight sand (play sand works)...this takes about a month or so for me...hopefully someone more in your zone can answer or you might find more info in searching the propagation FAQ section too.
