If you're new to roses you would do better to purchase a healthy plant from a local nursery than try and root cuttings to start out with. It takes time and practice to get them to root and a lot of care and patience to get them to grow into a mature plant. Start with an already healthy mature plant and learn how to take care of it before you try propagating them.

I have Astrid Lindgren and would be happy to provide cuttings next time I prune. I’m in central Ohio, zone 6a and Astrid Lindgren is a favorite!

Annie, sure if you are still active on here. I saw that you got your Astrid in Maine on another post .I would love cuttings or could even possibly pay you to root some. I live in Maine and have been looking for Astrid but I can only find her available from another country which obviously doesn't work. I hope you see this, I tried to message you but it wasn't working.
