If I wanted to make peppers sweet ala sweet pickles, would I have to follow the hugely long process of making sweet pickles or can I simply pack the pickles in a vinegar/hfcs brine? I figure since pepper flesh isn't nearly as thick/dense as a cuke that it should be relatively easy.
