Hi all, I normally post on the vegetable forum but this week I bought 2 new rose bushes from Home Depot. One is red called Salsa and the other is orange, in color, with the tag missing.

I scoped out two sites in the back of the house where I thought I would put them. One of the sites is infested with ants. Should I NOT put them there? Or how can I remedy the ant problem? I have a small dog that eats grass back there so I need a safe remedy please.
