Hi everyone. I am hoping someone here will be able to help me on a question I need to answer for my Horticulture class I am taking in college right now.

The question is: "How are rose thorns different from other thorns and why are they different?"

I have heard from some people that it is because rose thorns contain a type of poison. But do any other plants with thorns contain poison also?
