Hey everybody,
I have a couple peppers that I was given seed for and I'm hoping that someone can help identify them. I was given the orange one by a gentleman who brought the seed back from Mexico a few years ago and they've been a staple for me ever since. Its a pepper that is apparently really popular for salsa in his family's hometown in Mexico. The fruit are 1.5-2.5" in length and medium-hot. Costeno Amarillo, perhaps ?
The second group is from seed given to me by a friend of a friend of a friend, etc. and were believed to be Chocolate Habanero. However, the packet of seed yielded three distinct peppers. The plants themselves are identical and look very simlar to my various ghost pepper plants, but tbe fruit is very different. One is smooth, wrinkled, elongate, and look like a Chocolate Ghost to me. The other two are rougher and nearly all of them have the recessed 'scorpion' tail but one is burnt red and the other is the typical chocolate color. Any suggestions ?
Thanks for taking the time to help - its much appreciated !
