I don't have any hips, but can offer some suggestions. If you remove the seeds from the hips, you can reduce the size and weight of the mailing envelope, reducing the postage required. Cleaned seed also pose a reduced risk of sending bugs and disease spores in the mail. Once they are shelled, you can put them inside a piece of paper folded to form an "envelope" inside your other bag, or use a small plastic bag to contain them. That also makes it nicer for the recipient as they won't have to deal with potentially mushy hips when they receive them. If they reciprocate that with you, I think you'll enjoy receiving the seeds more, too. Good luck! Kim

I'm sorry, but 'Blaze is not producing any good hips. They are just brown and drying up. ?? No clue why.?? I hope you can find some good climbers. I've seen some on the seed exchange forum too. Good luck. :)
