I took some Salvia nemerosa cuttings in the late Fall and rooted them successfully under baggies in 4 inch plastic pots with Calloways Landscapers mix. After they rooted, I took off the bags. I've been keeping them under grow lights inside with 73 degree room temperature and I keep experiencing yellow leaves that drop off...I cut the water back but it wouldn't stop. So, I gently took them out of the 4 inch pot to discover tons and tons of healthy roots, so I potted up into quart-sized containers and put them in the garage with grow lights, but no heat. They're still getting yellow leaves and one has small white growth on the underside of the leaves. (fungus?) Obviously, they're not happy. Any suggestions? Could the soil not have enough nourishment? Calloway's mix tends to be mulch-like...should I add a bone meal? Any advice would be appreciated. I still have 3 months to go before I can put them outside.
