these hollydays I´ve travelled to Entre Rios, Argentina, to "Parque Nacional Pre delta", near Diamante city.
These National park protect flora and fauna from the first isles from the big delta formed in the Parana river.
There I´ve found two salvias that I´ve never seen before.
One is very similar to s. Pallida, less erect in habit and with much more flowers.
the other seems to be a variety of the same sp., but with white flowers (I´ve no notice of salvias sp. from argentina with white flowers)
I´ve sent a mail to prof. Rolando Uria, and hope to have his help to develop another salvia mistery.
Images from both salvia (pale blue and white) in link.
best regards to salvia community
