Northeast NC in April

20 years ago

I will be visiting this area in a couple months and was wondering what will likely be in bloom. Also, any suggestions of reasonably-priced garden centers to visit? I'm looking for elephant ears, caladiums and wave begonias - items that are not so easily found around here. Even a well-stocked Walmart would be a welcome sight at this time of year!
