Can anyone tell me if I need to prune back my salvia interrupta to the ground, or just trim it up. It is truly gorgeous to the eye and I would hate to lose it as they are not readily available here. After a particularly miserable (temperature wise) spring, this 2ft plant is looking quite ratty with dead leaves and only the tips are green. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
