Need help deciding flooring for kitchen/living area

13 years ago
So I have basic, not fancy white trim, white cupboards in the kitchen and white doors all upstairs. I have a cathedral ceiling that joins the kitchen and the living room with a partial devider wall separating the two rooms. I think I should run the same flooring in both rooms. What kind and what color will go well with white. ALSO, I have a flat burgandy counter top in the kitchen. Any advise?
