There are some errors on the Crug Farm site. Salvia oblongifolia should have blue flowers. The picture they show is, I think, a form of Salvia carnea, which they name as Salvia iodochroa. I used to grow both, one was more vigorous, with slighly darker flowers, but sure they were both S. carnea. Neither were anything special, and both were killed by frost.

Also what they call aff. chamaedryoides is not remotely like chamaedryoides, and S. ampelophylla should be S. amethystina subsp. ampelophylla.

But it is a GREAT nursery with excellent quality plants...however they are named!
