to me its like a small groundcover as opposed to a regular plant. It just crawls in the same area year after year. about 1 foot or so tall and maybe 3 feet round.

I bought three of them last week at a herb sale ones in bloom already they are very tiny not sure where to put them so they are still in their pots along with salvia discolor. Sarah

This is my third year with Salvia sinaloensis. I have it planted on a slight slope on a east facing bed. I agree with Skrip as it has stayed in the same area except for a little underground creeping to the surrounding area. From a four inch pot until now it is maybe 2 1/2 feet in diameter. It doesn't bloom as much as I would like but the foliage looks good year round. The low growth and low maintenance makes it a great plant for the front corner of my bed.

Yeah, depending on your shade/sun conditions, it will affect the color of the foliage from purple to green. The blue color of the blooms is one of the best tru-blues out there. Problem is the blooms are small and as Chargreen mentions, it doesnt bloom enough!
