I have some seeds, and another one of my plants produced seeds, why seeds when they can be propagated true to species if cuttings are taken from a specie plant. If taken from a hybrid most of the time they will come up looking like the mother plant. But not always. It just takes too many years to get the seeds that will be furtile. (20) years. Or do you want hybrids? Then it may take a year to know if they are going to germinate. Norma

Thanx for your responses....I didn't think about cuttings..I don't know much, just that I like the plant and would like to have one...I guess that's the reason I couldn't find any seeds online.

Sansevierias do grow from seeds. Some are rare. Have you ever seen a laurentii make seed? Many species grow freely and easily from seeds and many do hybridize within the genus.
The most important aspect is that you have fresh pollen and receptive stigmas. Sansevierias usually pollinate best just after sunset and some at night after the temperatures has settled and cooled down a bit.
Keeping excess pollen is a good idea as many times you cannot get two flowers open at the same time.

Seeds grow slowly but once they start to grow, they do grow rapidly and many produce side clustering pups are they grow. Many times new hybrids will also produce variegated sports even in the seedling stages.

Growing from leaf cuttings is easy for most true non-variegtaed sports. Growing the variegated leafed kinds usually end up with the offsets reverting back to its original form. But don't be alarmed as these will also produce new variegated sports after growing them out.
