Betty,
Moonshine and Moonglow are the same cultivar. They are a variety of S.trifasciata, cuttings will result in another variety of trifasciata that is called Robusta which is the size of Moonshine but darker green like the regular trifasciata. I am not sure about the 3 foot tall one that you described because Moonshine leaves are somewhat shorter and wider than the normal trifasciata. Sounded more like S.trifiasciata 'Silver Queen' or perhaps some other cultivar. Enjoy! Logan

Thanks Logan, I thought they were the same. And the tall slender one really threw me. This place also had Black Cobra that is tall like the regular trifiasciata, but very dark. Are you familiar with that one? The ones that they had were special orders, but they can get me some of those two strange ones. They are quite pricey.

No I am not familiar with 'Black Cobra'name but I wonder if it is the same as the one known as 'Black Sport' or 'Austrian Black'. Many times it seems like people just make up a new name for an existent cultivar and offer it as if it is something new... Logan

Betty, your 'Moonglow' with the short leaves is 'Moonshine'. The taller one they called 'Moonglow' is
without doubt 'Silver Queen'. I love the names growers stick on Sans just so it has a name, wrong or not...the dark trifasciata type wrongly called 'Black Cobra' is 'Black Gold'. I bought a 10" potful of mine at Target or
Walmart for $8, mixed with pots of regular green trifasciata, and have seen it many times since. I wouldn't spend a tremendous amount of money on it, you may find it locally if you check. If you contact me off-list, I may have an extra I can send you for postage.

As Logan expertly advised, 'Moonshine' will produce an all green plant with short, wide leaves called 'Robusta'.
'Silver Queen will come true from leaf cuttings, and so will 'Black Gold'.
