Your experience with Salvia chionophylla?

I raised a nice Salvia chionophylla from seed this year (from a generous trader) it is about 4 inches tall and it smells heavenly (a little like eucalyptus).

It's stem has turned somewhat woody, and I am eager to get it into the ground. I am wondering what other's experience with this plant has been, does it reseed readily, is it very hardy, does it mind some shade and moisture?

Hardiness depends on soil type, exposure, and USDA zone. It is hardy in Raleigh, NC. This sage should have gray, roundish leaves and grow along the ground like a strawberry.

It makes an interesting hanging basket plant.
