Looks like Sansevieria francisii.

Could it be Sansevieria hargesiana? I saw a photo of it but cannot tell what the plant similarities are. I think the woman who sold me this called it a Hedgehog.

Nope, it doesn't look like S. hargesiana at all. It's almost certainly S. francisii if it was being sold as Hedgehog, since that's a fairly common nickname for S. francisii.

Wow, Paula, what a nice plant and with 3 runners. They could send out a runner a few feet they turn up and produce a new plant. Best to place a pot under it when it gets there. Show us an update in a few months.

Stush, can you explain what you mean... put a pot under it? A bigger pot with soil?

I'm just wondering if you have a Ballyi. It's unusual to see such a small plant with so many offsets. Here's a picture of mine. I think I need to put a pot under mine too. I think what Stush means is to raise the pot up be turning another pot upside down and placing your plant on top.

Hmm... well the plant now has 4 shoots/arms.. Now I understand what you mean. Raise it up on a pedestal

Paula, I think they want you to let the shoot root its self in an other pot next to the Momma plant.

Thank Sans.... that makes sense. When they get longer and develop I will do that. I assume once a root system is established on new PUP I then surgically separate from Mom?
