The label said salvia argentea and now in its second year it's starting to bloom. Yellow flowers with a flat corolla and no evidence of usual curved or hooded petal. Looks to me as if visitors who thought it a verbascum were correct.

And what about the 4 new ones I planted? Their leaves look just like the older plant Bet they're mulleins too.
