Is there anything about it that makes you think it's not just a plain S. trifasciata? If so, can you post pics?

The reason that I suspect that it may have been mislabeled is that every type of Sans. they had (about 6 different types) had the exact same label: S. trifasciata--even the ones that obviously weren't. I don't know how to post a picture or I would.

Look at glasshouseworks.com. Or go to webshots or photobucket and run a search for sansevieria. There are over 500 sans. Unfortunately, people don't always get the correct name from nurseries. This causes great confusion.

You don't get the right name from professionals either. They do the best as they can.
don't change until you know what you are doing, and several people first, after we see a picture. you are describing a young plant. I doubt it is subspicta. Norma
