Schizophrenic Salvia

I received a rooted cutting of "Hot Lips" in trade which has done nicely but when it started blooming it had/has solid white blooms on one stem and solid red on another stem. These stems are coming of the same "trunk" so it's not two plants in one pot.

No that is what hotlips does it can be some red some white and some red & white. It is a real quirky salvia. Enjoy.

The coloration has a lot to do with how hot it is.... Mine were white/pink when it was rediculously hot and are now totally red.

And in the UK, mine are now totally white! But a real good white!
