Gail, Try soaking the plant from the bottom. Perhaps you are not watering the root ball, just the sides of the pot. If the pot is really crowded the water may not reach the center of the soil. So the plant will wilt from lack of water. I can't see your situation, so you will need to make the judgement call, I'm only saying that it is a possibility.

Not enough sun, what mix do you have them planted? And some plants just grow that way. What is the species name. Where are you located. Norma

Norma's suggestions above are all good. However sometimes (once you've ruled out the things she's asked) these plants have a mind of their own on how they want to grow. Once in a while, I use rocks around the base of the plant to keep it upright, they will lend support while not hurting the plant.

Right now I have large-leafed Sans. that's sprawling a bit, yet also sending up fresh new growth. I have a large rock (actually a very large fish bone like a single vertebrae which I found on the beach) propping the older leaves vertical while still making room for the youngster.

Give it a try (once you've unpotted it & checked that the rootball is OK, not all dried out or rotted).
