I would think they are not good (but, then, what do I know? ;) ).
Why not do a germination test on them to find out for sure.

An easy way to tell if it's viable that I know of is to gently bend the seed (hold the top and gently bend the tip). If it bends easily into a 90-degree angle, it's not viable. If it resists (don't force it, or you'll destroy the seed) and stays stiff, then it's probably viable. The grey colour, I find, isn't necessarily a good inidication of its viability.
