I've gotten plants from them and they are excellent. Regarding plants overwintering, it all depends on the plant and your zone, not on the company providing them. With Salvia hybrids in general, I've found that most of the zone info errs on the conservative side.

Oh, we're here, just reading not posting. As to. your question: I know nothing about this nursery, but think I might check it out.

Wonderful company. Really nice healthy plants. I'm in a warm zone in California, so overwintering isn't much of an issue here. Blazing hot summers sure are though.

Some of my favorites from FBTS are Salvia namaensis (flowers pretty much year round in my garden), Salvia mexicana 'Limelight' (in full bloom and gorgeous right now), Salvia 'Teresa' (a mass of flowers), Salvia Elk Lemon Light (beautiful yellow color), and Salvia Elk White Ice (blooms right thru the summer heat).

I've had good experience ordering hummingbird plants from Plant Delights although I buy salvias from Colonial Creek Farm. I'm basically in the same geographic zone as you. The small salvias I planted in spring grew robust, three feet tall and three feet wide. I'm trying to have them stay in the ground this winter hoping they will survive under mulch, sheltered by a fence. I do not have unheated space to overwinter. If they don't survive the winter I will try grow lights next year. I sure hope we don't have a harsh winter.

I ordered from Plant Delights this spring. All my plants
survived and did very well. FBTS is also very good.
