Once the flower is brown and dry, remove the dried petals and then break open the rest to see all the seeds. Seeds should have a black stick with a tiny white tip. If you have lots of seeds, you can just sow them directly in the ground next year. I over plant and they really fill in an area with plants much bushier and just as flowering as their parents.

Hello, I love the Red to Orange Marigolds. I always dead head the flowers. I make holes around the plant with my finger and push the seeds into them. I also sprinkle the seeds on top. My Flowers always come back every year.
