I was wondering the same thing, so here is what I found(but it took a while). The pencil is pointing to where the seed is, one per hiding place(at the base of the leaf). Pull it back carefully or you will lose it, it's not in there very securely.

Just an update...
I collected both of these groups of seeds from another Scaevola(a white one) and I'm assuming the ones on the right, and the ones in my first post are not viable, or haven't been pollinated. Disappointing because I really wanted seeds for the purple one!

I think you are right. I don't believe I got anything useful at all. Perhaps the seeds had already been dispersed from the one I attempted to collect from. If I get a chance I will try again. Thanks for sharing your experience with these!

does anyone know where I can buy scaevola seeds in the UK, have tried all the usual suspects but no luck,

I am still following it since I collected some seeds this year too. I have read that seeds should be planted fresh to germinate so I don't know if dried seeds will germinate. I am going to plant some soon and also test whether dried seeds are viable. Cheers and good luck!

Have been trying since last fall in the northeast with seeds collected from 2 purple plants, using multiple germination methods. No luck I'm sorry to say. These are great plants, though so will try again in the future and let you know if anything 'pops up'!

have lots in the heated propagator now , only two weeks in but nothing showing, I read that the seeds will be sterile!!! wILL CONYNUE TRYING, ALSO NOTICE SEEDS AT AMAZON ADVERTISED COMING FROM CHINA,don' think i would chance that.
