crabapple

Newbie here curious on how/when to harvest crabapple seeds. I've given my neighbors all my sprouts, but I've had several more interested and willing to start from seed. My tree is of weeping variety - if it makes a difference. Thanks for your help, Janie

With the crabs I started, I waited until the first couple frosts to make sure the seeds were ripe. The crabs were nice a squishy so getting the seeds out was messy but easy.

Worked well but I never got the poor things in the ground. lol
