No, it should be a swollen pod with about 30+ seeds in. I thought the same as you until I actually found a "real" pod with seeds in it. Examine all over your plant and look for a swollen one, even if it is green, open it and take a look and you will seed a lot of tiny, tiny seeds. Of course these aren't viable seeds but you get an idea as to what to look for. By this time you will probably come across a brown one that has opened and already spent its' seeds. Wait a bit for them to darken. Not every calyx produces seeds. Check out this website http://www.theseedsite.co.uk and you will find most everything. Hope this helps.

I went out today and found the swollen pods on my new waves..yikes, the seeds are so tiny!!! Like my Husband said, do not sneeze while working with these seeds or they will be gone!! LOL.
