I finally succeeded in growing this hibiscus from winter sowing some seeds last winter. Now I have all these huge pods on my plants that aren't ripe for harvesting yet. In light of the fact that we're about to dip down below freezing this next week. Can I just cover them with a sheet or something, and will my pods continue to ripen?
