milkweed vine?

Sure looks like milkweed vine too me.

I am by no means an expert but I think those are milk weed pods. My mother in law would take the pod, clean it, and put minature figurines inside to create a scene, then run tiny gold braid around the outside. Sometimes she painted the pods, sometimes not. When finished they were beautiful.

How cool. They're so tiny tho! Maybe 3 inches long and a quarter inch across. Those scenes must have been darling!

The consensus appears to be milkweed vine. I dont know anything about it, is it considered invasive? Does it flower prettily? Is it something I want to grow?

I've never heard of milkweed vine, but I know that regular old milkweed spreads pretty easily...it is pretty but you do have to pull a few of them up that have spread.
