unusual blue salvia -- ID??

I bought an unnamed salvia from a local arboretum society. Judging from the leaves, I thought it was a guaranitica. The flowers are a deep, true blue. What is odd is that the lower lip is up-curved, like a bowl! And there is a white splotch/ beeline, but it is *underneath* the flower. No visible sign of white from above. The smell of the foliage is not quite like my guaraniticas, though the foliage really looks like one. The calyces are green. This bowl shape isn't unique to one bloom; the entire inflorescence has it.

What could this be?? I know... I need to work on my photo posting skills. I did take pictures of it today.
