How tall are the roses and how high can the Salvias be allowed to grow?

The rose I'm leaning toward is Marie Daley 3-4 ft. Also was considering Nearly Wild 3ft. I would like the salvia's to be 18-36" rather dense and compact. I see similar plants in mass plantings but I am not sure the type.

Mexican Sage is my favorite for purple drama, but it might get a little too tall for you. It blooms from August through freeze and has a nice mounding habit in full sun from Spring onward. It takes little water, full sun and will multiply. The only problem: It can get quite tall.

The following have purple flowers and vary in heigth.

The following three will bloom continually once blooming begins;

Salvia 'Purple majesty' - tall
S. coahuilensis - short
S. 'Indigo Spires' - tall

The following two will bloom later in the season;
S. guaranitica 'Omaha Gold' -tall
S. mexicana - tall

S. 'May Night' doesn't bloom continually. It will need to be cut back for rebloom.

Salvia nemorosa, 'East Friesland'. 18" tall. Growing in my Dallas area garden. It's been my best salvia, along with salvia greggi. You can probably find it in the Dallas area this spring at Calloways, Northaven Gardens, Lowes & Home Depot.
