I'm no expert, but since nobody else has touched this one, I'll attempt. I had left up my Ipomoea lobata, aka Mina lobata, because they need a longer warm season for the seed to ripen. I harvested whatever seed I could in January, and I had germination when winter sowing a few months later. Since most (maybe) morning glories reseed, personally I'd just leave up it up and see what nature does.

The seeds you harvested should be fine, as long as they're not mushy...
