I also found a few 'Spring Symphony' foamflowers...How do they compare to 'Candy Stripper'? I like the looks of the foamflowers, but I want them to behave like a hosta or coral bells - clump forming, well behaved plants. Some varieties of foam flower DO spread - do these two varieties stay put or move about? Do they self-sow?

Tiarella Running Tapestry is the one you want to avoid. Running is putting it mildly with that one!
The others will make nice mounds and if you dead head right away you won't get any seedlings popping up. I don't deadhead, and I find babies all the time, but I just move them around. I don't know if that self-sowing so much as just the bees and hummingbirds do their job - lol Pirate's Patch is another nice one with the darker center to the leaves.
