It looks like Garden Visions maybe the only place you can get it....since it was named after the owner and is not offered by any of the other regular epi suppliers. Not sure where you are located but maybe possible you can visit in person, otherwise they do sell by mail order.

Thanks gardengal! Of course they are sold out for this year so looks like I will be waiting. I am in North Carolina so not anywhere close to Garden Visions.

'Karen' is a lovely plant, but for sheer growth and beauty, I recommend E. koreanum, or E. X 'Kaguyahime'. Another lovely which unfortunately is not available from Garden Vision is E. X 'Amber Queen'. For a real beauty flower-wise, E. macrosepalum 'Rachel' ( named for Karen's dog, a cute little Yorkie) is outstanding.

I have over 100 named varieties or species of epis and hundreds of seedlings besides. Along with hellebores, and pulmonaria, they constitute some of the best deer-proof plantings.
